After successfully expanding into Slovakia, where the Czech e-commerce model proved itself almost unchanged, we entered the Polish market in partnership with Dedra under the name mojadedra.pl.
It is well-known that many Czech brands have struggled in the Polish market in the past. Therefore, before the launch, we addressed several specific topics:
The performance of marketing relies on a high-quality e-shop. If conversion is hindered by UX or cart errors, advertising cannot deliver good results or return on ad spend (ROAS). As part of optimizing the purchasing process, we focused on detailed UX testing and formulating targeted hypotheses, which we then validated in practice. Thanks to this systematic approach and a combination of basket adjustments, payment methods, and customer communication, we significantly reduced the rate of cancelled orders for card payments from the original 34.39% to just 6.87%.
Research into the Polish market and consumer behavior revealed that Polish customers strongly prefer payments via Przelewy24. Therefore, we implemented this method in our online shop, and the results came swiftly – within just three months, it was utilized by nearly 50% of customers.

Once we refined the online shop and removed barriers in the purchasing process, we could turn to transforming the marketing strategy for the Polish market.
